New Awards and Rewards
This page describes a set of new awards and rewards
The following rewards and awards are meant to improve teamwork but aren't all specifically linked to Frontline and can as such be implemented independently in other game modes
Killing tanks that are close to a friendly supply base while allies are there gives the Tank Rescuer award
Deploying smoke (either through smoke grenades or smoke shells) in the vicinity of a friendly vehicle gives the Tank Rescuer award if the following conditions are met:
The friendly vehicle has been shot at within the last 15 seconds
The friendly vehicle's main gun is disabled
The shots they received actually threatens them (so, not machine guns fire on a Maus)
In a plane, hitting a ground vehicle gives a 100 silver lions reward for scouting if:
The target hasn't been scouted or hit within the last 45 seconds
The hits weren't critical
Towing a friendly vehicle away gives the Tank Rescuer award if:
The friendly vehicle has been hit within the last 10 seconds
The friendly vehicle is actually pulled/pushed (at least 3 meters?)
The friendly vehicle doesn't get hit nor killed for the following 15 seconds
The 15 seconds cooldown only starts after 8 seconds to take into account the time to move them away from hostile sight
The "scouting reward" for planes is to encourage planes without load (either because they dropped it or because they didn't carry any in the first place) to still do ground strikes when they have air superiority and stay around instead of just going back to the airfield to load new bombs right away...
